Wood Expo - Holiday Ornament Making

Service Description
WHAT YOU WILL MAKE: Your very own wood "tiny-tiny" home - an ornament for indoors or out. Made from reclaimed cedar! WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: Learn to use a Measuring tape, Drill press, and Sander. Also learn some basic sewing skills with ribbon and other options for decorating. OPTIONAL: Learn to finish your wood with beeswax/walnut oil "varnish" (food grade, child friendly). SPECIAL NEWS: This workshop is FREE to WoodExpo2021 visitors thanks to generous sponsorship from the Sunshine Coast Community Forest (SCCF). CLASS AND REGISTRATION DETAILS: This is a 15+ minute class for up to 4 people (take as much time as you would like at our decorating table). Registration is encouraged to save your spot. Walk-in's are welcome as space allows. Each booking online is for a 2 person adult + child team or for 2 adults. (For example when booking online, if you wish to have a group of 2 parents and 2 children in the same class please select "2 participants" when booking). Each team will go home with an ornament they made in the workshop. Note that each minor must be accompanied by their adult parent/guardian team member throughout the class.
